The geography of the “See and hear with your heart” project for the rehabilitation of the blind and visually impaired is very wide. During the implementation of the project, the blind and visually impaired from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation were trained. Rehabilitants from all over Russia are interested in the history and culture of our republic and people. Given this factor, the “Yardem” Foundation organizes city tours and a trip to the theatres of the city of Kazan for them.
The other day, rehabilitants visited the Tatar State Academic Theater named after Galiashgar Kamal and watched the performance, which was included in the long list of the National Theater Award “Golden Mask” “My White Kalfak”, a classic of the Tatar drama and poetry of Ildar Yuzeev.
During the years of “Perestroika”, the television bridge genre became unusually popular on domestic television. Dialogues of ordinary people from the USSR and the USA with presenters Phil Donahue and Vladimir Pozner went down in the history of television journalism. Responding to the demands of the times, the classic of Tatar drama and poetry Ildar Yuzeev in 1989 wrote the play “My White Kalfak Has Fallen Out of My Hands”, which refers to the first teleconference between the Tatars of Kazan and America and raises extremely urgent topics: finding roots, preserving one’s own identity , fidelity to the duty of memory, maintaining common sense.
